We chose a flight from Atlanta to Paris to Edinburgh rather than the more traditional U.S.A.-London-Edinburgh because it cost about half as much.

What can I say about this place? The simile didn't come to me until I was looking at these photos, but it looks a lot like you're inside a steel and glass whale. Some of the other parts, seen from the outside, look rather like a classical UFO. It's a very strange place. Be warned though: it may look pretty, but it's hard to get around in. You have to go downstairs and catch a bus to get from one terminal to another.
